Tips To Lower Stress

- Plan your route
- UPGRADE YOUR DRIVING SKILLS - if you feel insecure behind the wheel, you may need an upgrading lesson or course
- While driving, instead of listening to your favorite radio station or CDs, try listening to relaxing music (Classical, meditation, nature or other quiet relaxing sounds).
- Consider taking a different route to school or work. If you normally would take a highway or freeway you should consider taking city streets instead or vice versa. This can help reduce the stress of traffic and the normal routine.
- Leave yourself EXTRA time - leave early in case of road delays
- Listen to the traffic report and plan your route ahead of time
- If you have kids, keep books and entertaining items in the car.
