Scheduling:
100% customer satisfaction has always been our goal at Bestway. However, there are occasionally circumstances beyond our control which necessitate a change in vehicle, instructor or lesson time. We make every effort to minimize these disruptions, but we must reserve the right to make these changes when they are necessary.
Cancellation:
We regret that it is necessary for us to charge a late cancellation / no-show fee of $50.00 if lessons are canceled by the student without 24 hours notice. The $50.00 charge will also be levied if a student does not attend a booked appointment or is unprepared to take their lesson for any reason, such as a lost driver’s license or missing eyeglasses. This fee covers rescheduling of the appointment and payment for the instructor’s time. We will gladly reschedule any appointment without penalty if given more than a day’s notice.
Road Test Cancellation:
Cancellation or change of a road test requires 48 hours notice. ICBC charges $25.00 on your license if your road test appointment is canceled with less than 48 hours notice Monday - Friday only. This will be due to ICBC on the date of your road test and must be paid prior to the road test taking place.
Confirmation:
We try to confirm all lessons by telephone the day prior to the lesson. This however is only a courtesy reminder, as many factors affect whether or not we are able to contact a student on a given day.
Course Fees Valid for One Year:
All lesson / course payment fees are valid for twelve (12) months from date of payment. If there are unforeseen circumstance preventing you from completing your training within a one year period, you must contact our office and speak to our administration for an extension of your expiry date. Please note that GLP programs must have their training completed within one year from the start date of their classroom session in order to be eligible for the 2 ICBC incentives. This means that you must have your learner’s permit before you attend the classroom portion of our program. Refunds will not be given for unused lessons.
Private Lesson Policy:
All in-car lessons are private lessons with one student per instructor. However, with the consent of the instructor and the student, occasionally observers are permitted.
NSF Cheque Policy:
Bestway will charge $25.00 for any cheques returned by the bank. This charge will be added to any balance owing on your account and must be paid prior to your next lesson.
